NOW is the time to sign up for the April 17-19 All Church Retreat in Townsend at the Tremont Lodge and Resort (deadline is February 28th). This year’s retreat promises to be a wonderful weekend with fun and fellowship with your friends at Westminster. It will be complete with a bonfire and an outdoor movie on Friday night; Saturday morning program for all ages, 50-year church anniversary activities, mouth-watering meals, hiking, biking, horseback riding, fly fishing, golfing; and worship on Sunday in Cades Cove at Primitive Baptist Church. Before signups begin Sunday, you may want to go ahead and reserve your room by calling Lori at the Tremont Lodge and asking for the 20% Westminster discount and she will offer you a very nice room from $55 to $100 per night. This discount is available if you reserve your room within the month of February. Join us in a beautiful part of the Smokies for the entire weekend or just for the day as we celebrate together the 50th anniversary of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
The Cost of the retreat??
Retreat fees are payable to Westminster Presbyterian Church at the time of registration (deadline: February 28). This fee will help offset the cost of lunch and dinner on Saturday, both breakfasts, retreat T-shirt, conference room rental fee, nursery workers, and retreat supplies): $ 25 per person
A nursery (staffed by some of the nursery staff from WPC) will be available for children newborn to 5 years during Saturday morning’s activities. SHOW and WAM youth will be staying in cabins near the lodge under the direction of Barbara Adamcik and crew.
