Wednesdays With Westminster start up in a big way on September 17, with a presentation from our Senior Highs of Westminster. They will be sharing stories about their summer activities, including the wonderful pilgrimage to New Mexico. You all supported them so graciously, and this is their turn to say thank you and tell you all about it.
We’ll start the evening at 5:45 with a wonderful meal from our Loaves and Fishes cooking team, and the program will begin at 6:30. We’ll wrap up by 7:30. Childcare is always available, so we encourage families to come for dinner and fellowship.
Upcoming events include guest speakers:
September 24 – Dr. Allison Ensor, who will speak to us about Mark Twain. Dr. Ensor is Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Tennessee, where he taught for more than forty years.
October 1 – David Brill is a local author and hiker. He has through-hiked the Appalachian Trail and climbed Mount Rainier twice. He will speak about his latest adventure of climbing Denali. His book, Fire and Ice is the story of an ordinary man doing the extraordinary.
