Two of our remaining gift giving projects will conclude this coming Sunday. Many thanks to all of you who have given so graciously!!! One is the Volunteer Ministry Center gift giving project where we provide gifts for the “holiday store” where participants work to earn points to use to go shopping for their family. How cool is this??? They’ve already picked up two loads of donated items. They are extremely appreciative. The other project is for teenagers who must spend time at the Richard L. Bean Juvenile Service Center. These young people (boys and girls) range in age from 14 to 17. This Advent season, we would like to show God’s love to them, to let them know that someone is thinking of them and praying for them. Gift tags have been made telling them this message. Some examples of donations are: scarves, gloves, harmonicas, slippers, combs, brushes, small mirrors, nail polish, games, books, pens, pencils, writing papers, candy, or other small things for a teen.
