KIDS’ CLUB

DSC_0138Kids’ Club is for children in preschool through 5th grade. Meetings alternate between community service and fellowship activities. Our community service projects have been packing food for the FISH pantry, leading games at an area Assisted Living Center, making gift boxes for the children at the Knox Area Rescue Ministry Center, visiting the Young Williams Animal Shelter and taking supplies and food for the animals, stuffing stockings for the Salvation Army, etc.

Some of our fellowship activities include bowling, swimming, visiting the Corn Maze, movie night, game night, picnics, etc. Youth Club is designed for the families to get to know each other, and in the process, gives the children the forum to build relationships with each other outside of the Sunday School setting. Everything is scheduled, set up, and “ready to go” with each family taking a turn being in charge. Watch for information in the Abbey newsletter.
